Traditionally, Purple is the Color of Advent, signifying the repentance of God's people while patiently awaiting for the arrival of Jesus.
In some Churches, they use Blue as the Color of Advent. It represents hope, expectation and heaven.

Those are lovely, dazzling, glass Christmas trees! We use blue for Advent over here.
