I'm having cappuccino grande in a paper @ Hongkong Airport while waiting to board. I would like to use the Internet and the coffee shop told me I have to buy coffee first :). At first I was hesitant, but I'm glad I did. I love their cappuccino good enough to warm me on the cold weather.
I'm feeling... felt exhausted after walking for the whole day. I end up sleeping in the hotel, until it's about time to check out. I couldn't move my legs, so I bought pain reliever in their MTR and sat there for 30 minutes until I'm ready to walk.
On my mind has nothing to do with what I'm having and feeling :) It's about what to do with the apples given to me last week (not crunchy anymore) before I left for Hong Kong. I'm thinking of apple crumb pie using graham cracker crumbs as its base. Maybe, I'll bake it tomorrow after my Mandarin quiz :). I would love to share the finish product with you while having tea or coffee :)

Hi Lani,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post. Whenever I go to HK I always come home with black toes. I have toes that are not yet healing from our visit where we walk most days for 2 weeks! I had good walking shoes but still....anyways, I look forward to hearing your apple recipe with graham crackers.
Love your quote on walking ;-)
Hope you have a great day.
Blessings!
Hi Lani, I hope you were able to get some relief for your legs! I LOVE quotes from Abraham Lincoln...thanks so much for sharing that one!
ReplyDeleteHello Lani~ What a wonderful quote! I have never heard it before. I will probably use it. Maybe you can make applesauce with your apples. You just peel, core and cut them and cook them with very little water until mushy. Season with sugar and cinnamon and voila...applesauce.
ReplyDeleteGod bless you.
Hong Kong airport is fun to hang out. I spent quite some time there before my flights back home to the US and enjoyed it very much. It's also a very easy airport to navigate. Hope I am there again next year sometime.
ReplyDeleteWe took a Mandarin lesson on youtube once...it was fun! We had to laugh at how difficult it was for us Americans to make the pronunciations and inflections!
